30/31 coupe dome light

I put a top wood kit in my coupe. Trying to figure out which way the dome light block goes in. Its a block with a tear drop hole cut in it to mount the dome light to. Does the big round end of the teardrop cutout go to the rear and the pointy end go to the front or the other way around ? Also, does it mount between the 2nd and 3rd cross bows ?? (basically in the middle of the roof). Or further to the rear of the car, between the 3rd and 4th bow ?? thanks
