what is the best 600/16 tires to get?

It all depends on whether or not you want a stock looking bias ply . . . or want to step up to a more modern tire design (radials), or you want a radial that has a lot of the look of a bias ply (Coker Excelsior Radials). I will say, that if you drive you car a lot - you'll GREATLY appreciate how much better these cars are with modern tires. I've never go back to bias ply tires on ANYTHING I own.
