Pyramid Running Board Matting Sources
Does anyone have a recent experience purchasing good quality pyramid running board matting for a 1930 car? I have read in the past that the repro matting does not have the same number of pyramids per inch as the original matting, but is there a source for matting that is very close to looking like the original stuff?

Re: Pyramid Running Board Matting Sources
How many "pyramids per inch" do you need to be original?
Check out page 82 in the following catalog: http://www.restorationspecialties.co...og%20ebook.pdf I have not used this stuff before personally, just know about it.

Re: Pyramid Running Board Matting Sources
The pyramid rubber on a friends original car is spaced at about 6 pyramids per inch. (The repro material that I have seen recently has about 5.0 to 5.25 pyramids per inch.)
