1949 shoebox
I have a stock flatly and am thinking about dual exhaust with glass packs. Has anyone done this that could send me a video so I have a idea as to how it will sound?

Like the old TV commercial said : "Try it, you'll like it!"

Re: 1949 shoebox
Sound differs depending on what mufflers you have.

Re: 1949 shoebox
My '41 has Red's headers, I like the sound, I'd record the noise but it's up on blocks and the battery's stored away. Lots of videos on you tube of sweet sounding flatties.

https://portermufflers.com/ Search on youtube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bj3GSMmFq3k Easy to get too loud for driving. I like cast iron headers and turbos or at least porters. |

Re: 1949 shoebox
Personally I wish my truck was a bit quieter for driving. Fentons and basic resonators. Really needs something better, a better muffler.
