Re: Start of another 32 project
Again, I hope you're right. Down here, a clear title is the first requirement for a purchase.

Re: Start of another 32 project
It's a U.S. four-cylinder engine number (vin), not Canadian, but that should not be an issue when registering it in Canada.

Re: Start of another 32 project
Yes it is. Before I can register it in Canada it will need a body on top. Either way, it’s a decent frame with little work to make it nice. No heavy pitting like some I see for sale, just some cracks and bends from years of service under a pickup in a logging camp. It has been parked many years in a shed from what I was told.

Then there are the guys who say, "I love the 1936 Ford". Then they tell you how they removed all the original 1936 Ford pieces, installed a chevy engine and vega steering and then they call it a "restoration." "All Henry Steel" and GM everything else. |

Re: Start of another 32 project
Nailed it 👍 Really get a laugh out of people saying all original but SBC, glass fenders and the list goes on…

Well…. this ended fast. Long story short, it is heading to Australia.

Re: Start of another 32 project
Maybe keep track of the guy and get the cab and bed when he figures out that a '32 and a GMC chassis are not a good match.

The chassis is now destined for Australia, minus the wheels. Long story short, I sold it and my 32 pickup which is going to Germany to fund the 32 closed car I have a deposit on. I pick it up in the spring. |
