Mike,
Try calling your local Justice of the Peace. I just did recently in a Model A title case similar to yours -- very glad I did. You may be surprised to learn that many states have laws to allow Justices of the Peace to order DMV to provide a title for you, even when DMV has refused to give you a title. As such, DMV has no choice but to comply with the order from a Justice of the Peace. |

The vehicle was abandoned on your father's property 20 years ago by persons unknown?
Use the court method, see post 11 for the form. You don't need a lawyer. It will cost you court fees and publication of notice charge. You father can get the title in his name. |
