Here's my 16 footer. I put a driveway snow marker at where I aim the car when loading. It has a HF Storage box and I added 4X4s to prevent driving off.

Hearing some of these horror stories posted is one of the many reasons I don't loan out either one of mine (They can be seen in my post on page 2) I have way too much money in mine to loan them out & besides it is my business...People don't even ask anymore, I don't even like it when they are dirty!

I wanted to follow up on my post. i think the suggestions given were sound. I did go with a 20 foot enclosed. I upgraded to torsion axles and more interior height. I also upgraded the flooring to a synthetic floor so I can easily wipe up oil spots. I think it will serve our needs well. I appreciate the help.

Looks Great Curly!

You will be very glad you upgraded to the tor-flex style suspension. They ride so much better than leaf springs & you NEVER have to fix them..Unless of course you plan on putting more than 1 million miles on your trailer. I wore mine out & replaced both axles after 1.1 million miles!

Do you think an open 14' trailer would be large enough for a 31 roadster?

I have located a good used one with brakes, and ramps. I like the idea of it not having much weight.

14 foot is plenty to haul an A.Wheelbase on an A is 103,a 14 foot trailer is 168.Room to spare.I have an early 60's John Deere 14 foot tagalong trailer that I have hauled dozens of A's on.In the late 70's-early 80's we hauled a couple back and forth from Florida.

They are the same wheel base, and the overall body length is usually within a foot or so.
I agree with Keith that 14' will be plenty long enough.

I have an enclosed trailer 31 foot. we also use it to camp in. we have tool box and cabinets, as long as your tow vehicle can handle it. Go with the biggest you can afford. There is no such thing as too much room. JMHO

Some nice trailers and ideas on this thread.

Had to share what we use to drag our A's and other vehicles around.
