Section of 36 steering column
City:
Kerrville
State:
Texas
Price:
$10
This is the top of a 1936 Ford steering column tube. The part is probably the same for 35 thru 39. It would be usefull if you are having to make a tube. You would have the flare and the drop cut outs. The flare is right for the banjo wheels. The drop holes may be in a slightly different position on later years. It can easily be extended to full length with 1.5" exhaust tubing or 1.5" conduit. The weld cold be hidden under the column drop. There is a small cut where someone cut the shaft off to get the wheel off.
