1929 Ford AA Truck Transmission
Hi, I am restoring a 1929 Ford AA pickup truck. I was wondering if anyone had a schematic showing the shift rod connecting to the top of the transmission. I feel like I'm missing a piece.

Re: 1929 Ford AA Truck Transmission
The 28 and 29 AA used the same 3 speed transmission as the car. The 4 speed came out with the new chassis in 1930, which had bigger brakes, Budd wheels, and a hypoid rear axel, although it still used the 29 style cab, fenders, and hood.

Re: 1929 Ford AA Truck Transmission
The 4 speed came out in September of 1929 and has a reverse lock out lever on the shift lever. The bevel gear rear axle chassis came out in January 1930

Some more pics to add to Bob Cs post, if I remember some of those parts are available at the venders.
