Question a little different 4 carb weiand

thought i would get some thoughts on this setup.

Your best bet is to block two off and run on the other two. It's a racing set up.

Those are 1V with the universal base, correct?

thats correct they are really 1 barrel carbs.

Many years ago, I ran into a guy at Hershey selling a NOS quad set these carbs. I've never seen them again. I'd give them a shot. Look cool and different. Don't know what CFM they are. Hopefully someone will chime in.

That 4x2 can run great on street car. Ask our own Walt D.

I think MS called them a Universal. I had a base for one. Didn't know what it was from for awhile. Had many holes for different applications.

Would like to see a close up of your linkage. I have plans to use the glass bowl Holley 1904 carburetors on a manifold just for the challenge of making the linkage. Asked here if anyone had tried those on a flathead and got some poopoo answers. So much for thinking outside the box. Dick from Dick's Hotrod Shop has done at least one very clever setup using off the wall carburetors
