4 door top is the same as coupe/2 door except longer and more cumbersome.
Other than that, it is not a tough job if you are careful and pay attention as you go. Just be sure you are happy with the lay of the topping before making the final trim with a razor blade. Up to that point you can go back and tune it up.

I attached a couple of edited pictures of some posted earlier in this thread pointing out the inner channel where the first layer of fabric is secured.

I usually use a light canvas over the poultry wire to provide good smooth support for the padding.

Lately; I have found that billboard membrane makes a good first layer; my trimmer friend even leaves out the chicken wire when using the membrane.

I cut strips from PVC boards for the small tack strips and riveted them into the channel. Poultry wire from the hardware store, heavy fabric over the wire to support the padding, padding over the fabric, and topping material over that followed by the retainer strip.

Light canvas is normally used over the wire: I used heavy sign/banner/billboard material instead of wire last couple times; this material could also be used over wire if using it as an antenna. I used foam as padding; but cotton or polyester batting is commonly used also. I used marine vinyl for the topping; more original type material is (or used to be) available from the Model A parts dealers. I used Carpenter's rubber retainer strip.

I don't know exactly what it is called; my buddy says it is what building signs and billboards are printed on. Heavy super tough, no give vinyl like material would be my description.

Here is a picture of the material when he used it on a Model A another friend and I built for for his son, along with one with the material over the wood bows in my coupe.
