Welcome to the Ford Barn. You will find a lot of answers to any questions you may have. What engine does your T Bird have in it? I own a 69 Torino GT, that I have been working on for about 4 years.

Thanks for all of the welcomes, It sure is a friendly place around here. I might have a question to ask tomorrow. The rear brakes on the Thunderbird are grabbing for some reason and getting very very hot. I will have a close and see what I can find.
I have new drums and shoes but need to find what's causing the issue.

Sounds like you need to check the return springs, and rear wheel seals. The return springs get weak over time and they are easy to replace when doing the shoes. Get a maxi pack with the return springs and hold down hardware. They shouldn't be too hard to find, as they were used on a lot of Fords throughout the years. When I did the rear brakes on my 69 Torino, I replaced everything except the backing plates and the drums. I had the drums resurfaced at a local machine shop and they only had to remove .008 to true them up.
