'42 PU parking light lens retainer

I can't seem to put in the correct search words (if available) on the vendor sites..I've misplaced one, if I can't find will have to get one...anyone know what it's called or maybe something off other years would work?

Thanks Brian, found one inexpensive enough..just hate to spend a dime, when I KNOW I have one withing 5 feet of the truck somewhere!...lol!

This is interesting. Every time I have taken off a parking light rim from a 1947-48 Ford or 1942-1947 truck the lens has fallen off when the bezel is unscrewed. It must be no one puts the retainer back on when they change a bulb. Now I will try every parking light to see if I can finally find one of these retainers. Could it be unique to 1942 trucks and Ford quit using these retainers in 1946 -47 trucks and 1947-48 cars? Thanks

I don't know, but without the retainer...the bezel would have to be screwed into one of the retainer holes (different thread) and be clocked off to the side...i/e the bezel screw would not be at 6 oclock, but about 5 oclock

It is rate that the retainer is retained. Seems like many were either discarded or rusted away. Of all the 42-47 trucks I've had, I think I have only found one or two of them.
