A Lazy Sunday Drive in a Model A
Check out the video I just made. I'm at almost 5,000 miles already this year!
You can't stop smiling driving these cars! https://youtu.be/UOrAk4_gYkA

Nicely done......fun watching it! Do you use a program to give it that “vintage” look?

Old or young, everyone has a smile when they see these cars. That’s why there will always be a place for the Model A Ford. Remember, we are just caretakers. The future deserves to see and enjoy our cars. Enjoy. |

Re: A Lazy Sunday Drive in a Model A
Thanks! Glad you liked it. It is usually a filter I apply after I am done editing. This filter was actually in YouTube called, 8MM. I wasn't sure if I should keep the video color or go black and white. But some of the tree colors were pretty neat so I kept it color.

I love it! Great videography. As good as your trip to the market. I like that you did this one in colour.

Re: A Lazy Sunday Drive in a Model A
Thanks! and thanks for watching the other video! I wasn't sure if I should make it sepia, black and white, or color. But I thought color would be fun and make some of the drone shots a little better looking.

[QUOTE=jwilliams81;1946221]You have to be careful, to and from work. Many insurance companies do not allow to and from work ! You’d hate to be in an accident with no coverage !

Here in Ohio this is all you are allowed to do with historical plates: "vehicle must be more than 25 years old and be used solely as a collector's item for participation in club activities, exhibitions, tours, parades, and similar uses. The vehicle may be operated to and from a location where maintenance is performed"

I remember setting up my video camera along the route at different points along the 85 mile trip. I wish we had drones in those days! The video came out pretty nice considering what equipment I had available. It is on VHS. Got an A! Thanks again, Pat |

I bet that was fun, but hard dragging all the gear around. I used my phone and this tiny drone to film, then did all the edits on my phone haha. Isn't technology wonderful, when used with a 89 year old car

Re: A Lazy Sunday Drive in a Model A
Nice! No need to guess what season it was!
Are there any comments about the lousy condition of the road? that car even at the low speed it was doing was bouncing. I wouldn't want to travel far or at highish speed on that.

Brand new leaf springs front and rear along with rebuilt shocks all around helps make the ride nice and comfy.

Re: A Lazy Sunday Drive in a Model A
Those things would certainly make a difference and I guess modern cars handle it better than a 90 years old one.
