Default Running board splash aprons

can the aprons be removed easily without taking the body off frame?

"Easily" that is the key word...you can do it but NOT easy!

in my experience with a '29 roadster, you would have to raise the body slightly though not remove the body. the apron is held on at the back by a small carriage-head bolt and certain body blocks sit on the apron. of course you would have to loosen various connections such as the body bolts, rear fender to running board bolts, steering column bolts, gas line, etc.

It's not bad to do. Loosen up the body bolts enough to get enough clearance to the apron to frame mounting hardware. About an inch
