cojones, I tried calling the phone # you had listed in your post for the 34 glove box clock. No luck. Can you list an updated phone number or call 518-321-5746. Thanks

Hoping to get this thread going again and a recommendation for a flathead builder / machine shop in Virginia, hopefully near Richmond.

I recently purchased a Canada 52 F1 with a flathead V8, 4" stroke so I believe it is the 255. According to previous owner it was rebuilt around 1989. There are visible cracks between the head bolt holes (very common according to what I have seen online), as well on at least 2 cylinder walls.

Any recommendations would be appreciated!

KiWinUS,

I'd like to talk to you but can't send private messages yet. Would you mind sending a PM to me, then maybe I can reply?

Meanwhile I will see if I can come up with more topics to post

Thanks,
Glen

PS - I'm really enjoying reading all of the great early v8 threads

No flathead experience with them, but their shop had flatheads in it when I used them a few years ago.
