Default Carter M826 carb for a '33 with '34 manifold?

Carter M826 carb for a '33 with a three-bolt '34 manifold?

(apparently it is used for later flatheads.) Thank You -

Thank You - I'm prime to be corrected. I read a blog ; thought that they were speaking of a Carter carb. (typically confused, Pat Malone)

I remember years ago reading of someone using the Holley 847 one barrel from a mid 40s Ford six cylinder as a better driving replacement to the original Detroit Lubricator on a 33, don't remember hearing about a Carter used.
