Yes I found the info I needed on the HAMB. So this was a 6 cyl hood and everything else was V-8. Thanks to some good pics I patched the v notches in the hood and got everything to work. It appears there were quite a few 6 cylinder’s sold in ‘41. I have seen lots of pics of the the 6 cylinder stuff with a V-8 engine but nothing about converting a 6 cylinder hood to V-8.

Nice work! That should strengthen that area of the hood too.
For whatever reason, there does seem to be a lot of the 6 cyl style hoods around.
