Default 1940-41 pickup door glass window track placement

Getting ready to do the glass in the doors. No glass was present when truck came in the shop. I have two awesome original tracks. I have thought about pushing the window up into the door, putting the track in the channels and sliding it up to the glass and marking it somehow but wondered if there is an easier way?

Message me your email and I will send you a scan of an old Dennis Carpenter catalog that shows how to install the windows.

Bump. Possibly somebody has pics of their glass just before it went into the door?

This is what I have. Just wondering if this is correct placement for the tracks.

Yes, The little drop down finger is to add more vertical stabilizing to the front edge so you want it in the channel and at the rear you don't want the track to drag on the channel. The glass is easy to install with the track on it . I can't remember the exact prosses but it only took me a morning to change out both of my door glass' . Tim

Thanks Tim. I installed them where I had them pictured and they are in the truck. Roll up and down just fine. Thanks.
