Default Model A Seat belts

Yesterday the thread and postings wandered toward political statements with regards to seat belts and the thread was closed. I think the topic if addressed properly would be importment to all viewers.

I owned a ambulance service and still own a speciality co. that cares for the needs of those who unfortunately suffered a spinal cord injury and are now using wheelchairs. While I can not say that every accident we responded to, seat belts would have prevented a spinal cord injury, the fact is the large majority were saved from becoming a para or quad.

I am not going to convince everyone that seat belts are something that you should be using. I can honestly tell you that a large number of our clients wished they had their seat belts on!

My thread was in no way met to be a continuation of the previous thread about whether or not you install seat belts. I am trying to determine if it is practical to put them in my 400A. I know my wife would feel better since the doors are bigger than the 29 roadster.
