Default 1947 1 1/2 ton truck...maybe?

One of my neighbors has a 1 1/2 ton truck that he believes to be a 1947 Ford. It is an 8 cylinder flathead. It is 134 inch wheelbase with a dual rear end. Where is the gas tank supposed to be on a 47 1 1/2 ton truck?

under the seat, seat actually sits on a frame and the tank is located under the seat cushion, there should be a bolt on each side at the back of the door opening, remove these bolts and seat will come out

alanwoodieman….Thank you for your response. The pictures of 47's I found online showed the filler neck on the passenger side. The truck my neighbor has apparently had the filler neck removed and the hole in the cab filled. The tank being used on the truck appears to be some kind of aftermarket galvanized tank and it is located on the driver side underneath. I am familiar with the under seat tanks on the 35-37 1 1/2 tons but not familiar with the post-war Ford trucks. I was having problems reconciling the pictures I could find with the setup on his truck and now I know where to look. Your answer was very helpful
