"Old Couple in the Model "T" Legend"
Did you guys ever hear about an odd legend of many decades ago, whereby a motorist would drive up behind a slow-moving Model "T" car and in passing it, would notice a somber elderly couple in it dressed in quaint antique clothing; then about 50 miles later, the motorist passed the same Model "T" and saw the same elderly man and woman in it.
The legend had a tragic conclusion, because any such motorist would soon be killed in a car wreck on that road. I saw this in an anthology of American Legends and Tall Tales many years ago. I suppose different versions of it existed. |

Sounds like an episode from the Twilight Zone.
