What weight oil do i run in my air filter?.thanks Martin

I never weighed the oil I put in a oil bath aircleaner, I just filled it to the line ---it's not too particular about what type oil it gets, just that it has it ---whatever you are using for the engine should work----even cheap oil you wouldn't use for the engine would work ---as long as it is motor oil, not cooking oil

I was always taught ( This may not be Ford Documented but ) to use what ever oil you use in the engine use in the air filter / That way if you live where you have to change oil wt. because of climate conditions you change both at the same time.
I'm sure there are some here that will poo - poo this idea but it always worked for me.

Would this be the original factory supplied '34 air cleaner? If so, I believe that would have been a dry element air cleaner that was used from '34 to '36 as shown in attached pictures.
