Re: Finally finished my 1930 Roadster Pickup
VERY, VERY NICE truck. I do like it a lot. One question, are you able to fold the roof down or is the roof original non-folding type?
Again, VERY, VERY NICE truck. Cape Codder |

You got lots to be proud of there. 30-31 roadster pickups have very nice styling. I'm looking at your gear shift lever. What's the wire for that goes down from the shift ball to the floor? Is this a Model A transmission? Just curious. mike

Re: Finally finished my 1930 Roadster Pickup
I really appreciate everyones comments, I bought the truck in the early 1980's, rebuilt engine and chassis, painted the cab and had the interior, roof and the side curtains. Then I bought a house and we had a baby in 1991, and the truck would sit, and run it once and a while now that the baby is senior at PSU and I finally got to finish it. The roof does not fold, and the switch on the gearshift is for the ticken thru time turn signal switch, every thing is pretty much stock except the alternator and the turn signals, thanks again for all the help, I have learned so much here just looking at everyone elses questions

Re: Finally finished my 1930 Roadster Pickup
I agree. Take it on a 1000 mile trip just so it doesn't seem precious. Kinda like sea trials for a new ship or shooting a new Colt pistola.
