What kind of shock oil goes in a 1934 shock?

If itīs not a newly rebuilt shock...mixing with whatever is in there now is more of a gamble...
And the condition of the shock...if itīs worn thicker oil... |

if it,s not a rebuilt look at the filler nut that will tell you what is in it. ford used different oil even gliseren i think the green bible has a listing of the different filler plugs if not i am sure there is some one on the barn who has the info.don,t mix the fluid up
