Default 1936 front fender welting

Is there fender welting between the inner fender panel and fender where the hood closes?

There was thin webbing between the two on my 36 cabriolet. Bruce

I agree there is webbing between the panels for "anti-squeak" but no welting. Also between the inner fender panel and the frame.
