Default One peace front seal again

Just pulled the front pully from my59. the pully is bone dry on the back side. I used the original pully with the groves and just polished it with a little crocus cloth. There is some oil and road grime in the area behind the pully but that's where the pan vent is. Still pretty clean for almost 40000mi. I believe I used a Buick seal. I know there was just a thread about using the grooved sleeve so thought I would chime in on my real world experience.
Regards,Don

I have used the stock, grooved, pulley or sleeve on several engines with zero problems.
