please show color chips and paint formulas for 30 and 31 Model a pickups
I especially would like to see any red or deep red or related colors.

The best source is the "Paint and Finish Guide" published by one of the national clubs. I don't see it on their web sites but I think it will be in their magazines (or call them). The colors are different for 1930 and 1931. 1931 had 38 colors for the commercial vehicles if I remember correctly.

your best bet is to call one of the larger ford parts suppliers, they have the color chart book, it shows colors from 28 to 31

Be sure to get the paint guide from the clubs. There is another older one out there from a paint supplier I think with fewer chips and less information. You get what you pay for and when choosing a color I would like to know that it was right and I had considered all of the ones available. It is true when they say you get what you pay for. Is your truck a '30 or a '31? Post if you need help in deciding. There is a BIG difference in the colors available. Any chance you could get your local Model A club to buy one to loan to members? It is something you only use once (per vehicle).
