It's a real shame that a LOT of people will only associate Edsel Ford with the "Oldsmobile Sucking a Lemon" car that was named in his "honor"!
For an interesting look into Edsel's life, and the unfortunate circumstances behind the 58-60 Edsel, read "Disaster in Dearborn, The Story of the Edsel" by Thomas Bonsall.
An amazing history of the car, and the corporate bloodletting, infighting, and shenanigans surrounding it's creation!
