Putting back together my basket case Vicky. Thanks to the guys that answered questions yesterday !! Where do these two pieces go ? To short for over the doors . Measure 27" long. Thought the square holes would be a clue but i am stumped !

Re: 1931 Vicky Trim panel Question
Those are pieces that go over the doors, but they are probably for a different body style. The Vicky/A-400 doors were wider than the coupe and Tudor doors. I think that's what you have there. The previous owner either bought the wrong ones or they are from another restoration and got mixed up with Vicky parts. Did the previous owner have more than one Model A? Lots of mixing and matching between parts can happen when multiple Model A's are under restoration, especially if the heirs get involved when trying sell the unfinished cars..

Re: 1931 Vicky Trim panel Question
As Marshall says, those door trim pieces are for the 190A. My guess is that they fit a 1930-31 Coupe or Tudor.

Re: 1931 Vicky Trim panel Question
Thank you to every one. I have been priming and wet sanding all the pieces for Ms Vicky that were sandblasted and primed last summer. Body is coming back together and I have been putting all the pieces back where they go.Some are obvious and some are NOT !

Re: 1931 Vicky Trim panel Question
Not very good pic's but the pieces that go over the doors for my Dads 31 Vicky.
they have a double step and a curve on one side, and nail on to the car from the sides not screws from the bottom like the others hope this helps a little :-) |

Re: 1931 Vicky Trim panel Question
I bought those body pieces that go above the door on my '29 coupe. They almost look like stainless & I didn't even paint them. My new door locks from Brattons are made from stainless & look spiffy, even NOT painted!

Re: 1931 Vicky Trim panel Question
The steelback does not have the taps for nailing.
