Do any of the new repro. instr. panels fit properly? I understand the bottom mach. screw holes are off.

Re: New late '31 instr. panel fitment
I purchased one from Synders one year ago and it fit fine with a little prying on the lower mounting holes with a small drift punch. As good as an original? No,and they are chromed, not nickel plated, but I am happy with it. dennis

Just get one of Don Turley's restored originals. You won't ever find a better one, and it will fit.

'28-'29 panels were originally nickle-plated. '30-'31 were chromed.

"From mid 1930 to the end of production, the instrument panel was elongated horizontally with a ribbed pattern on the face and a round speedometer. These could be either brass or steel, finished in butler or bright nickel." |
