Default Voltage Regulator:

What is a good brand and the part # voltage regulator for a stock 6 volt 1940 Ford?I have heard that a lot of these repo stores are selling China or Taiwan and are not worth the time to install.

I agree. I would find a NOS one. There are lots around. I bought a bunch at Hershey a couple of years ago. PM me if you want to buy one of mine.
