I am seeking a new script Model A 6 Volt Coil for my 31 Coupe made May 31'
noticed they are not making these any longer as they are having production problems,until a new owner takes over the company and builds them again.
I need a coil and hope one of you good guys out there has a new one in a box for me to use.It must be new! with the bracket tack welded to the coil.
licensed by Ford etc.
Or if rare a NOS or mint original that is tested and works,would rather have a new one in box.
I contacted all the part houses and none available.
I hope I can get one this way so I can use my car.
I appreciate any help possible.Wish I had a few to keep as spares.
Again,must be NEW!
somebody has to have one sitting on the shelve that they bought and never used...........

Ford used these from the beginning to March 1928 and did not use the Ford scripted ones again until July 1931 to the end.

So you should use the non scripted one.

OKAY-
but where do I get one with the bracket spot welded to the coil? they only sell the ones where you need to buy the bracket seperate.
I found one person that has one new one on his shelf he is willing to sell me,I hope it works out.
I wish to drive the car.
The company that makes them is for sale and production has stopped.I called every part's supplier in the U.S.
Nobody has them and a NOS coil is 80 yrs old if you can find them.What do guys use for a fine point judged car?

I guess if you want it authentic you have to find NOS.

I found a NOS one some time ago and it works great.

If you not show you can use the Script one.
