Transmission Needle Bearings
I bought a complete Model "A" transmission for $10 at my club's annual auction. Then I read Tom Endy's warning about poor quality transmission needle bearings, so I figured that this transmission may have appears reusable bearings.
Before I use these used bearings, has the situation with new bearings improved? Hot digity dog! This transmission is like new inside, so I have $500 in gears and good reusable needle bearings.

I just used the last "good" bearings I got from Bert's, so it would be nice to know if the situation with new bearings improved? |

Re: Transmission Needle Bearings
I just changed the ones out in my Fordor. The only place I could find good bearings was Model A Medic. He has some US made ones and some made in Germany. This has been about 3 months ago.
