stock brakes
just bought an a that the previous owner decided to COMPLETELY disassemble.. I have a few restoration books on order that should help me figure out the brake system, however I was hoping someone might have a link to a good article? or video?!!!
fwiw.. when I say disassembled.. I have a backing plate in one box, the shoes in another and springs (that I think are for the braking system) in a third box.. given that I have never encountered a model a brake system.. I could use all the help I can get.. obviously I am also (perhaps) in the market for a complete take off brake system if anyone were selling!! thanks in advance! best

Re: stock brakes
Brattons's has some videos online, here's one on the rear brakes: https://youtu.be/Pd5RnwT4asE
... and some assembly drawings https://www.brattons.com/assemblies/...sembly-16.html Snyders sells this video, "How to stop on a dime", which is actually very good: https://www.snydersantiqueauto.com/P...earchByKeyword |
