This engine stand is for my 8BA using 3 inch square steel tubing, 3/4 in. steel plate and 1 inch bar stock. The base measures 36 x 39 inches so it can't tip over. The distance from the floor to the center line axis of the swivel head is 36 in. The stand is on casters and comes with plywood covers for storage of other parts. This is a great engine stand made in the USA by yours truly. I don't think you can build one like it for the money. The white stuff on the engine is lithium grease. This stand will also fit other engines. You pick up and bring a helper as it's heavy and my back hurts. Thanks.
