Default 1932 Ford Steering Column Lock and key NOS??

Regarding a NOS 32 Steering Column lock with 2 keys and prefix number tag still attached(FK816). It looks to be NOS and in excellent new looking condition with original looking black paint that has a few chips probably from being bounced around from swap meets. Does anyone know what a fair price would be for this.I know it would be on the higher side.I dont want to waste my time on bidding on something I cant afford but its a real nice piece.Any Ideas?

FK is not a 32 key code. The 32-35 lock cylinders appear nearly the same but there is a difference. A later cyl in the early car will stick out.

I looked at pictures of it and it appears the way it was back in the 30s.It doesnt look tampered with. Everything looks to be intact.Im not sure what you mean about the later cyl would stick out,the cyl is in the column piece with the key inserted into the lock and the cyl looks like it fits normaly, not sticking out if thats what you mean. What year would be FK series?

Original correct 32-34 ign lock cyls have a FB or FC code. The FK was a replacement and correct for 35.The FK lock cyl when installed in a 32-34 column drop sticks up nearly 1/16" above the casting.

It depends on how bad you want it!! Sounds to me much too high, but if you want it bad enough, I guess you step up.
