Almost looks like a commercial grill shell with the bars cut out and a passenger car grill inserted in their place.

Appears to be '34 truck shell with, as David mentioned, the bars cut out and a '32 insert added.

Interesting, I haven't seen that done to a truck shell before. A picture from the backside would be nice.

I did something that looked similar. I used 32 car shells and found clapped out 32 truck shells and grafted the truck top into the car shell. Had some scratching their head?

Looks like at least the top of 33 truck shell grafted on if not the whole 33 truck shell with 32 car insert installed.
