Default Fords in the Fall

Time to share your pictures of your Fords in this year's beautiful fall colors. I got out of the house and took these today.

Lawrie-

Use "advanced reply" instead of "quick reply". Under Additional Options hit the Manage Attachments button. That will open a new window. You will then see seven buttons that say Choose File. Hit one and you will be given the option to take a photo, go to your photo library or go to the cloud. Open your library and choose a photo by tapping on it. If you want to add more than one, use another Choose File button. When done, hit the Upload button on the far right. Note: you may have to shrink your screen size, because if you are zoomed in you won't see the Upload button.

After the upload is complete you can close that window and submit your reply.

Edit: the screenshot I posted is excessively small, so maybe I haven't figured it out either!

Yes. I'm headed to Yellowstone this week with the little doggy while my wife goes and plays with her mother and sister for a few days. We'll be camping in the tent since all the motels are booked. Should be an adventure with daytime highs in the 40's and lows in the 20's and 30's at night. Brrrrrr! Good thing Old Henry has a nice fresh air heater and our tent site has electricity for a space heater in the tent.

I upload my pictures to PhotoBucket, copy the URL, then click the Insert Image icon above the typing area on a post (yellow box with a mountain in it), paste the URL of my photo in that box, and click OK. The picture is not actually uploaded to the Ford Barn site but is seen by embedding the URL in the post.

Wow, not fall here in the tropics surrounding Houston,TX. Looks to be 94F today. Around mid-October we will get our first cool front where the night time temperatures fall to the 50s. But then the nice cool weather here is in the winter and the summer is when you hibernate in the air conditioning. We may get 2 or 3 nights this winter with a freeze of a few hours. Last 3 or 4 winters, no freezes.

I guess I've got the best of both. It was 94° here in the valley yesterday. Grass and trees still green. But, in 20 minutes we climbed 1,000 feet up to where the color was.

For me, fall means grape picking and delivery. First load of the season today: 3.5 tons of grapes hauled 30 miles. As always, the truck was a big hit at the winery.

I LOVE your truck and that you use it as it was intended to be used, like I use my car.

Hi Mark,

Just wondering if you may know an old Army buddy of mine who lives in Berwick, ME. He is head of the car club "Rod Barons". His name is Tim Dube. Some other people in the club are John (Ducky) Duckworth, Bill Roberge and his wife Joan and Richie Silva.
The website for the Rod Barons is www.rodbarons.com

Hey Bill,

Is that the car that was in George Riley's barn in Wiscasset Maine 35 years ago? It didn't look like that! Nice! Nice! Although I hope you kept pictures of the "flower power" artwork that used to be painted on it. If so please post. It would be great to see.

Not a great photo, but took it during work this afternoon. We had loaded the 2 ton with a trim package after planing and had my tonner pickup out to park in the shed for winter. One scraggly maple tree for color in the 'evergreen state'.....

In October of 2011 we did a Barners Tour of Skyline Drive and the Blueridge Mountain Parkway. Here is the thread on that tour. My pictures start on page 5 of this post.

https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showth...+ridge+parkway

This was a fun trip with some gorgeous Fall scenery.

Its overcast so the colors are a little muted but if I wait any longer there may not be any leaves left on the trees. Here in Minnesota they can be gone overnight.

Nice car in pretty Fall Colours. Thanks for sharing. We never got the "flat-back" 37 Ford Fordor Sedans in Australia. We got a choice of Fordor Sedan & Fordor Touring Sedans in 1935 & 1936 only.

This is my 37 Ford Cabriolet, or at least part of it, in the fading days of fall, in Alberta.

Jacob, Just love your 1936 Ford Flatback Convertible Sedan. it certainly is a pretty car. With regards to 1936 Ford Convertible Sedans, how many "flatbacks" did they make and how many "trunk backs". You don't often see these cars these days, which is a shame. What is the survival rate?
