Default Last meet for the year

We took the dragster to our last meeting for the year over the weekend.
A very hot day (39 c)
we did five great runs ,three in the midday heat ,all over 140 MPH,
then into the evening did three runs all over 141 mph, best of 141.4 mph.
Last run and our engine stopped after the burnout, the little jack shaft that drives the fuel pump and alt snapped.
2nd dnf since 06 .
We have had a great season and finished 5th in the super comp class.
The engine hasn,t missed a beat all year, turns to 6500 at each pass,no drama.
We have a really good data logger on board ,and this has enabled us to run consistently fast with no burnt pistons.
We are a bit closer to building our new chassis that will get a couple hundred pounds off and a new engine that we hope will get us into the 8s,
