removing 36 ford oil pan
Can the oil pan be removed with engine in the car?? Need to check out the plugs (pennys) on the bottom of block. Thanks

I did remove the pan on my 1950 flathead, I had to remove bolts on engine mounts and jacked up the motor, I think I also unhooked the exhaust, that was a long time ago, can't remember all the details.

This will help you. You will have to lift up the front of the engine and rotate the crank so the oil pan will clear it for removal.

yup you can do it. but it is a bitch! it took me 4 hr to remove the pan in my 36 pickup
