1939 Ford 95hp engine??!!
I saw this emblem on ebay (ebay item# 255695639869) it is a 1938-39 Pickup hood side emblem. However my 39 and I have seen say Ford and 85hp as the Pickup to my knowledge only had the 85 or the 60hp. This emblem clearly states 95 on it. I am confused and don't like when I feel confused. Does anyone have a answer?

Michael....Seems like Kubarth has talked more than once about "SPECIAL-High Horse" engines as being optional for "Qualified" users, such as documentable Police and Fire Departments. Possibly one of this sort of critter? Kube would likely know, as he has dealt with such. Just an idea! Coop . |

95hp is listed as available for 112" commercial chassis in the Jan 1939 parts book.
