60HP rod bearing size
I have a set of connecting rods for a 60HP flathead 1937-39. They are labeled 52-6211-c1. Are these the .010 undersize crankshaft standard rod size or does the c1 mean something else. I checked the green bible, but it does not list C-1, only C. Thanks for the help. The C-1 is stamped on the box and the 52-6211 is printed.

I know it's a few days late but it took me that long to find the bearing making cypher . A-2 = nickel cadmium , A-3= silver cadmium , A-5 = copper lead base A-4 = tin base , A-6 = silver alloy . All were the content of bearing composition . A1= std B1= .004 con rod .003 crank C1= .008 con .010 crank D1= .008 con .003 crank E 1= .004 con .010 crank All the way to X1, X3, X5 They may or may not have a dash in front of the letter - A1

Re: 60HP rod bearing size
According to my Canadian 'fast moving parts Catalogue', 52-6211-C is 37-39 V8 60 .010' on crank/std in rod, as you correctly identified. I think the 1 suffix relates to the bearing material as posted by Ggmac on 01-25-2018
