Default U bolts on yoke of open drive banjo rear

I recently picked up a nice open drive banjo rear center section to have in stock. The U bolts were missing. If I recall, the factory U bolt is flattened at the 180 degree part that secures the U joint.

Does anyone know of a source for these or if anyone has one that be willing to part with, I'm interested. Thanks

I wound up needing odd U joints when I had to replace the center unit in my four window coupe. The replacement unit came from a later higher HP car and used larger U joints so I had to find "transition" joints. Our local old time parts store guy was able to find what I needed. (Bill at Politi Auto Parts on Ridgedale Ave in East Hanover.) If you have the diameter of the cross piece and the bolt hole size and spacing they should be able to help.

Hey Tony:

Yep, I'm pretty sure Spicer as well. I'll need to do some digging as to what.

Cheers,

Hi Pete:

Thank you. I've never been to Politi Auto Parts, but know where it's at. Sounds like they are good resource.

Thanks for the tip.
