my '37 fordor does have the cowl drain
I did a search for cowl and windshield drains.i think i found the windshield drains by using my cell phone camera. i'm just comming off my 2nd total hip replacement in december so layin on my back on floor is out of the question, besides i'm old with arthritic spine as well.so i pick my battles i did however find the nipple for the cowl drain that a fellow barner posted pics of his with a drill bit stuck in the opening in the tray/channel under the cowel door. iv'e had my '37 for 4 yrs and wondered why it didnt have a drain. for thats what i thought.that little nipple was illusive. iv'e looked in that channel a few times could not see a hole.i finally found the nipple and opened it up from the engine compartment yesterday and clamped a length of tubing on it albeit fuel hose damn nobody sells thin wall vacuum line any more?? thanks to the barn member that posted those pics.now maybe my feet will sta dry after washing car. thanks,Tom.

If you ran the hoses from the windshield into the cowl you need to make sure the water can drain out of the cowl panel. There is a drain nipple in each lower corner of the windshield opening.
