Yes, I have replaced the bowl screen, checked and rechecked it. Have many in stock.

Regardless, I am calling this fixed! I will definitely add that stand up filter.

Reading all the replies & found it very interesting, I don't have a fuel problem yet
but it seem the way to go is with a stand up filter. I don't know what this is or looks like. Anyone got a picture or catalog where I can see the filter??

Snyders pictures the stand up filter on page A-144 of their 2019 catalog . They call the part a gas tank screen .The part number is A-9193-T Price $5.50

This is remarkable that I found this post. I am having the very same problem for some time. I have a stromberg 97 with a fuel pump and a regulator set to 3 psi.I have gone through the ignition system and fuel system. I am now checking to see how the flow is ahead of the fuel pump. I do know that I collect debris in my filters. Car is finished to a high degree and really do not want to remove the tank and risk damaging the paint on the car. I may try the small tank to verify.
