Looking for info on fenders
Found this pair of fenders while walking in the woods on my parents
Property. Am I correct to assume that these are from a model T? How is the condition and what might they be worth? |

Re: Looking for info on fenders
I believe they are the front fenders that would fit 1919-1923 Model T cars. Look restorable,

Re: Looking for info on fenders
Dear macdozer, I made a typical error on the years your fenders would be correct for, they would be correct on 1917-1923 Model T cars. Valuation, would be better left up to someone closer to you than ND. Repro's are available for $470 each from Langs, that for the fender shell you have to add brackets to that price, labor if hired and freight. After all that you would still have to paint them. Makes a person wonder what in the hell's the matter with themselves if they ponder it very long! Dan

Re: Looking for info on fenders
Don't these have the lip under the headlamps to match the radiator apron on 1923-1925? Right side is typical 1923-1924 while the left side has single bead that goes under the splash apron typical of 1925 only.
Restorable but lots of work needed, no not pass up on an offer. |

Thanks Layden, I missed that, I think you are right about the fenders and here I have been trying to straighten out the mismatched front fenders on my 23. Dan Johnston

Re: Looking for info on fenders
They appear to be solid but, somebody will be doing a lot of sheet metal work to get them straight again. Having the brackets is a plus. A pair of fenders in Pa. woods would not look near that good and they'd most likely be full of bullet holes.

Re: Looking for info on fenders
You have a pair of 24-25 T commercial fenders. If you can get $100 for the pair you are doing real good.

Sorry the last photo is a commercial, the other is a standard fender.
