Just Out of Curiosity
Just Out of Curiosity...........
Has anyone installed an electric fan in front of the radiator on a '39 Ford Deluxe; (85 or 100HP Flathead)? Waste of time and money or does it help, especially in stop and go traffic? THANKS TO ALL FOR YOUR COMMENTS! RAMBLIN RECK DEC 2, 9:34EST Last edited by Ramblin Reck; 12-02-2021 at 09:34 AM. Reason: TO THANK ALL WHO COMMENTED |

Re: Just Out of Curiosity
RR, yes, I did it, with a switch on the dash, it helped a lot in parades, etc. Well worth the effort. However, when I rebuilt my engine, I should have spent more time cleaning out the block...but live and learn!!

Re: Just Out of Curiosity
I think puller fans are more efficient but it depends how much room you have to work with.

Re: Just Out of Curiosity
try to make sure that the fans are offset i believe that the 39 fan sits below the centre of the rad so mount the electric as high as possible
