1951 Ford F1 stock build
Ok so I am new to the Barn! Hope I can figure this out.starting a 1950 ford f1 stock restoration. I have the truck down to the bare frame. How do I check to make sure the frame is straight? Do I need to take it to a shop? Just want to start off the correct way. Thanks

Re: 1951 Ford F1 stock build
Welcome to the Barn!
You can check the frame using a tape measure to check diagonals, from left-front to right-rear and vice versa. Set the frame on jack stands and measure off the floor at front and rear to check for twists/bends. The workshop manual has a pretty good write-up on doing this, and includes this diagram.
