Replacing window regulator on 1933
Did a search and couldn't come up with anything on replacing the window regulator in a 1933 Ford. I need to replace the one in the drivers door and was hoping maybe someone who has done it before could give me a heads up on what to look out for.
Thanks |

just be careful when removing and refitting the glass, they break easily if you apply force to the edge, and measure the where the regulator sits on the glass to be sure it goes back in the same place.
Ask me I know, Lawrie |

Thanks Lawrie, it's little things like that, that I'm looking for. Did a search on you tube but only modern vehicles came up. There is a picture of a 33 door with the door skin off on the HAMB that was helpful.

Take the door inner panel off, remove the screws that hold the regulator in and juggle the regulator off the bottom of the glass runner, just take your time and be careful you don't drop the glass.

I have seen inner doors on old cars where someone made the cutouts much bigger with a tin snips. Don't do that. |
